BROTHER MILTON (Alex) FERGUSON

Brother Alex Ferguson is a seasoned operations leader with more than 30 years of experience in contracting, procurement, sourcing, and operations management. He is highly skilled in guiding cross‑functional teams, optimizing daily operations, and ensuring alignment with organizational strategies, policies, and long‑term objectives.
Throughout his career, Brother Ferguson has demonstrated a strong ability to conduct quality reviews and audits, develop and execute strategic plans, and drive organizational growth through improved operational processes. His expertise spans product planning, purchasing, supply chain management, and business operations.
During his decade‑long tenure as Senior Director of Operations at Xerox/Conduent, Brother Ferguson earned recognition for his talent in evaluating existing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing innovative process improvements that enhanced productivity and reduced costs. He now serves as the Category Manager for Professional Services at CareFirst, the largest not‑for‑profit health insurer in the Mid‑Atlantic region.
A proud Baltimore native, Brother Ferguson graduated from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute before earning his bachelor’s degree in Management Science from Coppin State University. He later completed his MBA at the University of Maryland University College and earned a certificate in Management Studies from Harvard University.
Brother Ferguson is an active and dedicated member of the Omicron Psi Sigma Chapter, where he has served in numerous leadership roles, including Treasurer, Financial Secretary, Corresponding Secretary, Reporting Secretary, Historian, and Parliamentarian.
Equally committed to his faith community, he has been a member of his church for more than 52 years, serving as Chair of the Finance Board, Chair of the Trustee Board, Deacon, President of the Men’s Fellowship, and President of the Ushers.
Brother Ferguson enjoys life alongside his wife of more than 20 years, Traci, and their three energetic children—Jared, Ashley, and Sydney. A passionate supporter of Baltimore sports, he proudly cheers on the Orioles, Ravens, and Maryland Terrapins.
